Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters (previously known as the Philadelphia Toboggan Company) is a roller coaster manufacturer based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. The company manufactures trains and supplies parts for wooden roller coasters.
History
Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters was established in 1904 at Germantown, Pennsylvania by Henry B. Auchy and Chester Albright, making amusement devices such as carousels, roller coasters, and their trains. In 1971, the company moved to Lansdale. It had also built "Crazy Daisy" rides, fun houses, and Skee-Ball machines until selling that latter business in 1985. In 1994, PTC acquired Morgan's wooden coaster car division and relocated to Hatfield in 1999.[1]
